Unit 11: NATIONAL PARK
Lesson A: Reading
Time: 45 minutes

I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to


- Understand and know more about some national parks in the world as
well as in Vietnam.
- Talk about national parks.
II. Language focus:
- Grammar: Gap-filling and answer the question after reading the passages.
- New words: national park, to be located, butterfly, recognize, survival, orphan,
abandon, sub-tropical, toxic, contamination.
III. Teaching methods: integrated, mainly communicative approach.
IV. Teaching aids: textbook, laptop, speakers, handouts.
