POSITION:

1. Resort Doctor (Executive Status)

Solely responsible for the daily operations of the medical clinic of the resort operating under
the Human Resources Department Responsible for providing primary and continuing
medical care for patients including staff members and guests Maintaining appropriate
records and advising the management on initiatives focusing on the physical and mental
wellbeing of the team

Requirements / Qualification

MBBS or MBBS with postgraduate degree / diploma or with equivalent qualification in any
medical discipline
Min 3 years experience as a Medical officer in a health centre with at least 1 year as a doctor
in resort
Must have experience of working in an island resort or a medical centre of a remote island

Able to work long hours, often under pressure, excellent interpersonal skills. Must have
valid registration from the Maldives Medical council (TMR Certification). Responsible
individual with commitment and dedication.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

Examine patients physically and assess the medical condition of patients. Listening to and
questioning patients sensibly with compassion and human dignity. Carry out minor surgical
procedures as and when required. Referring patients to specialists medical service when
necessary, and accompanying patients to such specialized medical centers in Male or any
other destination if required. Responding quickly to emergencies or to requirements of
patients at all times including off duty hours and to visit, provide treatment to patients at
locations other than the clinic if required. Making bills for guest patients for the services
rendered in accordance with hotel policy and procedures and deliver details to concerned
departments.
