Venkatagiri Durgam is a rock Fort about 8 miles west of Venkatagiri Town. It is almost virgin trek territory and
difficult trekking route. Venkatagiri Fort built in 1775 AD attracts visitors from all over the district. Venkatagiri
is surrounded by a dense forest extending to the Tirumala hills. The forest houses many places of natural
beauty like Kona Malleswara Kona. Here on can see waterfalls falling from 80 ft. height and also 300 years old
Shiva Lingam.

Veyilingala Kona (The Valley of the Thousand Lingas) Waterfall is situated near the town of Srikalahasti and is
at a distance of only 8km from the outskirts of the town. The waterfalls are a favorite tourist spot because of
the amazing panoramic view of nature that they offer.
