Married, 2 daughters (20 and 18 years old).

Director, founder of TechCon Engineering and Consulting since 1998.

EDUCATION

Doctorate (in progress) at UFRJ in offshore structures, with emphasis in marine and lifting
operations. Thesis: A methodology for coupled simulation of subsea lifting operations using multi
body and computational fluid dynamics.

M. Sc. in offshore structures at UFRJ. Thesis: Development of operational limit diagrams for
offshore lifting procedures.

Pos-graduated in strengthening of structures, using carbon fiber and other advanced materials.
Thesis: A comparative study of the design methods for flexural strengthening with carbon fiber-
reinforced polymers.

Structural engineer since 1997 at Federal University of Espirito Santo.
