John and Amy Smith began the Hometown Caf in 1982 when
they realized food was their passion. Many nights were
spent cooking, experimenting with recipes, and planning
until they had a repetoire of dishes with which they were
happy. They then decided to take the leap by quitting their
daytime jobs and open the cafe.

John and Amy are committed to bring local ingredients to

their patrons. They strive to support our local economy by
using ingredients and speciality selections from beloved
companies in the area, such as Rolling River Ice Cream and
Rosies Sodas.

Over the years, Hometown Caf has become a favorite in

Humphry. Many locals are on a first name basis with staff,
as they frequent the establishment on a regular basis. Even
the mayor has his weekly community meetings in the cafes
sideroom.

As fellow foodies, John and Amy wish to welcome you to
