Developing the Lesson

We are also learning that Jesus is fully a human like you and me. We
drew the pictures of Jesus feeling by using emotion words and talked
that Jesus had experienced all the feelings like us.
And today we will learn how to search a Bible verse in the Bible : Hebrew 2

I have put your bible on the desk

Now, what we are going to do is finding the Bible verse in the bible but
when you go to your seat you will listen to me and follow my
instructions. You will not touch your bible until I tell you to touch. Okay?
Does anyone have any questions?

[Class/Grade: 1 B]

- Okay, you may go to your place.

Now, you may touch your bible.
First, we will see the table of contents.
Here we see that the Bible is made up of two parts: the Old Testament and the New
Testament. So, where is Hebrew here? The book of Hebrew is in the NT.
So, we are going to search the Bible verse from the New Testament.
Now, lets divide the bible into two parts: teacher will demonstrate. Ask did you all divide
the bible into half?
Okay, we will take the second half to get the NT and then we will find the book of
Hebrews.
Now, move forward to get the book of Hebrews. Look at the top and there, the names of
the book is written and keep moving forward until we get the book of Hebrews.
When you get the word Hebrew raise your hand.
Now, lets find the chapter: see there is a big number in blue color that is called chapter.
We are going to find chapter 5: keep moving up when you get the no. 5 raise your hand.
See there are tiny numbers in black which we called verses so lets find verse 7 and 8.
5 min If you found raise your hand.
Ok now, we will read this verse together:
What does this verse mean? Explain.

Closing the Lesson

Jesus was fully a human like you and me because he had felt
everything that we feel every day in our life (like sad, happy, tired,
hungry).
He had a large family.
He was without sin and obeyed and loved his parents.
So, we also need to be like him. We should obey and love our family too
because we believe in Him and we do whatever Jesus has taught us to
do.
