Goal 1: 3rd grade teachers in our school district will increase technology integration

in daily classroom instruction to at least 3 times a week specifically when teaching

Social Studies standards.
Objective 1: Teachers will become proficient in using various forms of technology in
the classroom.
Objective 2: Teacher will become familiar with the latest technology that students
can use in the classroom.
Objective 3: Monitor student progress since using technology during lessons.
Objective 4: Teachers will make sure computers with Internet access are in their
classrooms.
Objective 5: Students need all available technology to use while in the classroom.
Goal 2: The goal of this professional development would be to focus on the 3 rd
grade Social Studies content strands and develop teaching strategies that will
enhance student performance in a school year.
Objective 1: To decompose the Social Studies Standards taught in 3 rd Grade in our
district.
Objective 2: Teachers will be able to match the curriculum standards to specific
classroom activities.
Objective 3: Teachers will collaborate and support each other in the district on
strategies to teach 3rd Grade Social Studies standards.
Objective 4: Train other teachers in the school district to break down standards and
learn strategies to use in the classroom.
Objective 5: Offer stipend for professional development learning time
