February 2017
The Gospel of Luke ends the same way as Matthew and Mark, with Jesus instructing the disciples
to pick up the banner of the gospel and carry it to all the nations of the world. As I begin this
newsletter while in Nigeria, I am very thankful to be involved in a mission in obedience to Christ's
commission, and acutely aware of international needs and responsibilities required to accomplish it.
Work on the Alabama property continues to slowly progress. We pray for grace and provision of time,
resources, and workers to have it useable for ministry this summer. Please continue to pray and give so
that we can provide the Mobile Unit for Haiti this year.
God is faithful. Well how much is it like God to test us when we begin a new journey of faith? I
guess it is my turn to accept that new challenge. This month I found out that I will need surgery soon
(no date yet). This is a new area for me to trust God, but I do know He is faithful and knows best.Thank
you for your prayers in advance for me to be faithful to represent Him well through it all. Our family is
doing fine. Sarah and I drove with her five children to Wisconsin to visit my family for several days at
the end of January. My brother, Dave, and a friend then drove from Wisconsin to our home to visit and
play golf for a couple days. Timothy & Carolyn went to Alaska for her dads unexpected open heart
surgery. As of this writing he is in recovery. We celebrate quite a few birthdays in February; Joshua,
Timothy, and grandchildren, Brynleigh & Layna. We are blessed to live close enough to see
each other almost every month. God bless you. Love, AnnaMae
