Pass the Piggies

This game is a tribute to the wonderful Pass the

Pigs. Hopefully it will bring back many happy
memories and perhaps make some more! And yes
the game really works!
The piggies can also be made just for fun and
brighten up any nook or cranny.

You will need:

< 25g Pink (DK/Light Worsted), I used alpaca
< 25g Blue (DK/Light Worsted), I used cotton (It needs to be quite stiff)
5mm safety eyes
Button
A little stuffing

PIG x 2
Body (pink) Single Crochet
Magic Loop 6 sc
Round 1: Work with out increase but instead of crocheting
through both arms just crochet through the nearest (this will
give a sharper join for the piggies nose see picture) [6]
Round 2: Work normally (through both arms) without
increase [6]
For the next section of the pigs, two stitches will always be worked without
increase. Mark these out with pins or sections of yarn. I will refer to these
stitches in brackets {2} they will form the bottom of the pig.

Round 3: {2} Inc 4 sts evenly (2 sc in each st to end) [10]

Round 4: {2} Inc 4 sts evenly (1 sc, then 2 sc in next st) to
end [14]
Round 5: {2} Inc 4 sts evenly (2 sc, then 2 sc in next st) to
end [18]
The pig is now worked normally

Round 6 14: Work with out increase
