HFTWP ANALYSIS PAPER

Name : Omar Menchaca Period : 7th

Sometimes people realize, regardless of their initial feelings, that the experiences they share with

someone can create strong relations. In the movie Hunt For The Wilder People. This theme is developed

because Ricky doesnt respect Bella at first but after she dies, he comes to appreciate what shes provided

for him, as well as when Ricky arrives, his respect for Hec is acute, but once alone in the New Zealand

forest, he realizes he needs to help him. And As Ricky moves in, Hec barely shows any acknowledgement

towards him, but once injured in the bush, he turns to Ricky for assistance.

Ricky doesnt respect Bella at first but after she dies, he comes to appreciate what shes provided

for him. When Ricky arrives to his new home, he doesnt even talk to her. And he gets upset when uncle

Hec puts away her ashes as if it were just any object, and once he leaves, takes the box with him.

Significantly proves Rickys respect changes throughout the film for Bella, because at first he didnt

converse with her at all, but in the end carries around her ashes due to respect, Its certain his feelings for

her change.

In addition when Ricky moves in, his respect for Hec is a cute, but once alone in the forest, he

realizes he needs to help him. At first when Ricky moves in, the few times he tried talking to Hec, it

seems as if hes purposely trying to make him annoyed, by asking questions and joking. Followed by

when Hec and Ricky are in the bush alone together, they end up working together due to the realization

that they need each other, building a friendship containing respect between the two. Furthermore when the

two first meet, they rarely exchange words, but as Ricky runs away into the bush, and Hec finds him and

injures himself, they are forced to work together for the simple factor of survival.
Thirdly as Ricky moves in, Hec barely shows any acknowledgement towards him, but once

injured in the bush, he turns to Ricky for assistance. As when Ricky first moves in Hec is disrespectful

towards him, grunting and even snarling his face at him but after Hecs ankle heals, he starts

understanding how Ricky feels, leading him to help him stay away from child welfare, Helping one

another this builds a strong connection between them.

In conclusion despite the way you feel towards someone at first, certain events can take place and

build powerful connections between the two. So in the end, that person you thought was annoying in the

beginning, go back and try to make a new friend, you never know who may take what part in your life and

how important they may be, until you meet the moment of truth.
