Alumni Management System of NIDians

Design NID Alumni Directory is an online system to enable and facilitate interactions among NIDians.. Alumni register in the system
with certificate name, discipline, year of passing and email id. Once admin approve their account, within two working days alumni
gets username and password on his mail id. Alumni can see other alumni profile, event, news, search other alumni, post job, update
own profile. Admin can upload news, Event, publications, approve new alumni.

Designed and developed NID website using open source CMS [Joomla] framework
Custom CSS was designed for new NID site, integration of existing dot net modules with php (Joomla)
Challenge: To integrate existing asp dot net modules and publish in Joomla articles without any change in the content layout and
format

Open Elective 2010

 Open Elective (OE) system is a Web application. OE provides an Online Registration facility for Faculty/student, FCFS registration for
students, role based access to admin to update news, event and photo gallery, course wise discussion forum accessible to the
students of that course, faculty profile and course material upload feature in course page
Challenges: FCFS concurrent 350 users register in the System.

Industry Interface 2009

Role: SRS, interface specification, development.

Industry Interface is Job Board of National Institute of Design. Administration decides the registration dates for students and the
company. Company is considered as registered once they get the username and password generated by the system automatically.
When Student registration is finished, system automatic sends mail containing username and password. Once student and company
registration is completed, students can select company of their choice (max 3). Students can see the profile of company & companies
can also see the profile of student.
Challenge: Existing industry interface running on asp.net 2003 and oracle hence migrate to newer version and it was static website.

Implemented Google Apps part of Team.

Created CSV of old mail server and generate username and password according to Google apps using ASP.NET and C#.
Successfully running Google Apps in National Institute of Design around 1600 users and 25 Groups.
Challenge: migrate 1500 users, Groups of old mail server to Google Apps.

Result for examiners. Education department give us excel file. We convert that file into csv format and upload in database. Candidate
enter site no and get result and related Information like when to be present for studio test.

the academics section. The evaluation procedure implemented is a dynamic process where Faculties can decide their own criteria for
evaluating students. The system is a role based system where hierarchy is maintained.

It reads the login information of student during the lab sessions and based on their login time, duration, student id and time-table their
