5min Introduction
Greet class and introduce the lesson
Health Resilience and wellbeing
To begin with we are going to work in pairs with a piece of paper each and find out what our
similarities and differences are remember to think beyond physical similarities.
Assign pairs and send students as their names are called

Main Body
20-25
min Activity 1:
Monitor student engagement and clarify any questions as necessary
Once students have written a sufficient amount assign 2 pairs to make a group of four and
discuss their similarities and differences further.
Gain attention and bring back down to the mat
Discuss information found and ask focus questions
-What things did you and your group have in common?
-Did you already know the things you have in common?
- In what ways are you different?
- Is it okay to be different?
- What are some good things about people being different in our class?
- What would happen if we were all the same

Activity 2:
20-25
min For the next activity we are going to be doing a self-quiz about resilience
(ability to bounce back/ overcome challenges)
This is an individual activity and I really want you to think about yourself and be honest
when answering the questions.
At the end you will do your own short reflection of your strength and weaknesses.
Remember that this is individual work so there shouldnt be a lot of talking
Set students off and monitor

Remind students of time remaining


Gain attention instruct to sit on the mat bringing their quiz and a pencil

Conclusion
5- Ask students to tally up their answers for each section and to identify one that needs the
10mi most improvement and pick one specific skill that they are going to work on over the next
n week.

Before ending the session ask the students say ways that they can be friendly and include
others in the classroom and playground

On exit collect self quiz/reflection
