Classic Elite SPRING Knit-a-Long

Your design must use a minimum of $30 of CEY yarn purchased this year.
Its fine (more than fine!)
to make more than one project.
Show us your completed project(s)
before 7:00 pm on Friday, June 16.
Your name will be entered in the prize drawing
1 time for every 100 yds of yarn
used in your project.
The CEY KAL
prize drawing will be
Friday, June 16, at 7:00 pm.
Anthea Poncho
Grand Prize will be a basket with $100
worth of good things for knitters.
Other prizes will be gift certificates
to downtown Valparaiso restaurants
and various items from around Sheeps Clothing.

CEY has provided you with a great collection of designs

for this springs KAL. You have a full spectrum of
garments from classic to edgy. Anthea poncho is
reminiscent of the asymmetrical Hunger Games cowl.
Its worked in 4 strands of Mika, a new organic cotton
yarn in the Seedling and Sprout family. It would be fun
to put together your own combination of CEY yarns to
make a unique version of this fashion forward piece.

Building Blocks Crocheted
Shawlette
You will spend class 1 learning the basic stitch pat-
tern for this piece and getting a good start on your
shawlette. You'll begin with a few stitches at the
center back of the neck and build outwards until
your piece has reached your desired size. In class
2 you'll apply an edging to your shawl and add
Romanian crocheted cords with yarn tassels. The
weight of the cord and tassels helps the shawlette to
