Work Experience:

1. Modern Continental (Boston, USA) - 1994 to 1999

Mr. Chassang did extensive work with this Boston based company, whose
work extended from projects in the United States to Tourism Resort
development in St. Lucia in the Caribbean. Work with Modern Continental
included a one year stint in Cambridge, Massachusetts in various
construction related roles. His duties included everything from heavy
machinery operation, technical services, and site supervision.

2. Enterprise International (Boston, USA) - 1991 to 1994

Working with this subsidiary company of Modern Continental, Mr. Chassang


utilized his range of skills on high rise building projects. On these projects,
he learnt various technologies and methods in building multi-storey
structures.

3. Defcon International (US Virgin Islands) - 1982 to 1986

With Defcom International, Mr. Chassang worked on various construction


projects around the Caribbean. Some of the islands where he worked
included St. Croix, Puerto Rico, Tortola, St. Eustacius, Saba, and St.
Marteen. He continued with Defcon to do heavy machinery operation,
materials ordering, and construction supervision in Dominica and Antigua.
4. Modern Continental/Caribbean Jewel (St. Lucia) - 1999 to 2005

Operating under the Resort Developer name of Caribbean Jewel, Modern


Continental carried out a major resort development on 35 acres of prime
beachfront property in Rodney Bay, St. Lucia. Rembert A. Chassang played a
central and key role on this project as the Local Director and site Supervisor,
managing the project from the site. The range of works performed was from
foundation to finishing.

Mr. Chassang was involved in the construction of various aspects of the site
development including; main building foundations, concrete slabs, concrete
roads, main building construction, stone walls, swimming pools, gazebos and
exterior landscaping.

His daily and weekly duties included ordering of raw materials, equipment
and spares, the clearing of imported goods, cost management, transport
supervision, and heavy equipment operation. He ensured that he carried out
the regular preparation and submission of progress reports.

5. Kier International (St. Lucia) - 1985 to 1989

Mr. Chassang worked on one major project with Kier International (St.
Lucia), who held a major public works contract for the Government of St.
Lucia. This project involved the site preparation and building of four (4)
major multi-storey buildings on the Castries Waterfront to house various
government ministries and agencies.

He was directly involved in the cutting and layout of the road networks on
the waterfront, the setting and construction of the Castries Market water
pump building, and the packing of stones to reinforce the Castries Harbor.
Shortly after completing the Castries waterfront project, Mr. Chassang was
involved in another major public works contract with a Canadian company
engaged in site work on the Roseau Dam Project, including being the main
operator for cutting roads, land benches and other risky works.

Metro Construction (Windjammer Landing Project - La Brellote Bay,


Gros Islet)

2006 - 2009

Metro Construction Ltd was the main contractor for the expansion of the
Windjammer Landing beach resort during the period mentioned above. Due
to the challenging nature of some of the site preparation works along
sloping terrain, Metro had to contact Mr. Rembert Chassang to prepare the
foundations for all structures to be built. For the Windjammer Villas, set
against the La Brelotte hillside the contractors required placements for
foundation walls for the buildings and also swimming pools.

WINDJAMMER LANDING RESORT


Audreys Construction Ltd (St. Lucia) - Computer World Building -
2008 to 2009

The fully established company of Audreys Construction & Services Ltd was
the main construction contractor on a major project to build the three (3)
floor Computer World Office and Retail Store in Bois DOrange, Gros Islet.
This project was completed over a duration of ten (10) months. The building
was successfully delivered within the allotted timeframe and within budget;
with Audreys Construction & Services Ltd receiving a letter of
commendation from property owner Mr. A.K. Gupta. Construction related
works performed were: building and placement of Gambian baskets along
the river-edge boundary of the property, all concrete and woodworks for the
main structure including roof construction, and landscaping of site after
construction.
