Transforming Education for All Learners

To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to recommend Nina Saw as an excellent teacher candidate.

I have been one of her professors and her supervisor for her teaching
placement in a class of 2 year olds in Roanoke City. Nina Saw has been an
excellent student at Radford University. She has demonstrated a high level of
commitment to her schooling. Nina is currently a graduate student at Radford
University and will complete a Masters degree in May of 2017. She
graduated from Radford University in May of 2016 with her BS and will qualify
for licensure in Early Childhood Education/Early Childhood Special Education
upon graduation. Her undergraduate GPA was consistently high, earning her a
place on the Deans list from 2014 through 2016. She is also a member of
Kappa Delta Pi, an educational honors fraternity.

Ninas work experience includes working as a multi-classroom teacher at

Minnieland Academy from April of 2012 until August April of 2016. While at
this job she was given the opportunity to work on creating developmentally
appropriate activities that promoted positive peer and adult relationships in a
four-year-old classroom. She volunteered in inclusive as well as self-contained
classrooms at Ashurst Elementary School in Quantico, Virginia in 2013. From
this experience, she learned about different special education models.

I believe she will be an excellent teacher and would be happy to answer any
questions you might have regarding my experiences with Nina. Please feel
free to contact me if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Sharon L. Gilbert Ph.D.
