INFORMATION
The undersigned Associate Prosecution Attorney accuses Wantik
A. Awo of the crime of Estafa thru Falsification of Public Document,
defined and penalized under Article 315, paragraph 2, in relation to
Article 172 and Article 48 of the Revised Penal Code, committed as
follows:

That on January 9, 2016 in Baguio City, Philippines, and


within the jurisdiction of the Honorable Court, accused Wantik A. Awo
[hereinafter Accused] misrepresenting himself to be Don Quisote
Rich, applied for a loan with Bank of the Philippine Island in the
amount of PhP 5,000,000.00. A parcel of land located at Birukem,
Baguio City, covered by Certificate of Title No. T-134562, in the name
of Doa Maggi Felt - Rich married to Don Quisote Rich was then
offered by the accused as collateral. The accused did then and there
wilfully, unlawfully, and feloniously falsify the deed of real estate
mortgage and the promissory note corresponding to the said loan by
forging their signatures when in truth and in fact they did not so
participate, to the damage and prejudice of the complaining bank
and the Spouses Rich in the aforesaid sum of PhP 5,000,000.00.
