Preparation
1. PowerPoint about what is presentation and what do they need to write in their
author presentation.

Beginning the Lesson
1. Review: [Slide 1] Teacher will ask the student, What presentation means?
Teacher can pick the student who can answer by choosing their name from the
popsicles sticks. Then teacher can show the definition of presentation, do and
donts in a presentation, and make some checking understanding question:
a. Is it ok for us to write the whole long explanation in the presentation?
(No)
b. Is it ok if we only put one picture and a phrase in our presentation? (Yes)
c. When we get the information from another website, not originally from
us, is it ok if we put no resource in that presentation?

d. What are other donts in making presentation?


2. Homework Review: [Slide 2] Ask the students who has done or has started the
author presentation for their library homework. Then repeat what are the
things they need to include in their presentation (Max.7 page)
3. Resources: [Slide 3] Ask the students what is resources and the usage. Then
explain to them the importance of resource page. Resource page is important
because it means we appreciate the contributor or the maker of the website
that we read. It is also important to respect the writer because the
information that we put in our presentation is not originally written by us. If
we do not put resource page, it means we just copy the write, same thing with
cheating in exam.
Developing the Lesson
1. Making Resource Page: [Slide 4] Teacher will model the steps written in the
slide. Student can try it after they see the teachers model. MAKE SURE ALL
OF THE STUDENTS ARE PAYING ATTENTION. DO NOT CONTINUE
BEFORE ALL STUDENTS PAY ATTENTION.
a. Ask them to choose the one column page.
b. Fill up the title section with Resources
c. Type the topic that related with the source that they use.
d. Copy and paste the link of the website on the resource slide.
e. Give them list of useful website for their author research.
2. Independent Work: Let the students work on their presentation.
Closing the Lesson
1. Check up!: Students need to stop their work and teacher will ask which slide they
are in from 7 slides. Remind them to continue the presentation at home and
put some design on their presentation.
