Role and This course is designed to prepare students to be able to

the workplace. In this class, we will discuss strategies for
effective communication, to identify objectives, analyze
audiences, choose information, and create the most effective
arrangement and channel for that message.

At the beginning of this course, students will discuss thinking


skills, which will encourage students to apply critical thinking
skills such as: ability to deliver key idea, ability to compare,
analyze and evaluate alternative choices and ability to justify
and draw a conclusion. With a good thinking skill, students are
expected to be able to communicate their idea / information to
diverse and possibly resistant audiences and present that
information in a credible and convincing way.

FINAL EXAM WEEK

Students in groups are asked to submit their magazine / blogs / Poster or


any media they use for their group special report/ campaign. Individually,
students must submit their part of their group project as an individual
article / essay for their Final Exam Essay

Teaching/Lear Teaching methods used in this course includes: active lecturing, small

Methodology

Assignment Summary/Essay:
Instruction Summary/Essay is an individual assignment, typed in words document,
using 12 font Times Nes Roman, 1,15 spacing, medium margin, A4
letter with maximum 2 pages for each summary/essay.

Final Project (Special Report)


Special report is a group final assignment which will be presented in
group presentation and printed or published in website. The Final
Project Theme for this semester is: Indonesias position in AEC
(ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY).
Eventhough this report is a group project, each students must write
one article in the special report representing his/her analysis on his/her
chosen special topic related with the group theme. Additional
information regarding this project will be discussed in the class.
