I'm a biochemist and I specialized in the relationship between diet and health f
or 50 years. Several years ago I heard about the discovery of Richard R. Vensal,
DDS that asparagus could cure cancer. Since then I worked with him on this proj
ect and we have accumulated a number of cases favorable. Here are some examples:
Case No. 1
A desperate man with Hodgkins disease (cancer of the lymph glands), the year of
starting the asparagus therapy, his doctors could not detect any sign of cancer
and had returned to practice strenuous exercise.
Case No. 2
A successful trader of 68 years suffered from bladder cancer from 16 years ago.
After years of medical treatment that included radiation without obtaining any i
mprovement, he opted for the asparagus. In 3 months, examinations revealed that
the tumor had disappeared from the bladder and kidneys were normal.
A man had lung cancer. On March 5, 1971 he was operated and found lung cancer so
widespread that it was not operable. The surgeon declared the case closed and i
ncurable. On April 5 the patient knew about the asparagus therapy and immediatel
y assumed. In August, X-rays revealed that all signs of cancer had disappeared.

Case No. 4
A woman who for years had problems with skin cancer. I had finally developed dif
ferent skin cancers diagnosed as advanced by a skin specialist. At 3 months of s
tarting with asparagus skin specialist said I had good skin without any skin les
ion. The woman reported that the asparagus therapy also had cured a disease of t
he kidneys that had since 1949. He had 10 operations to get kidney stones, recei
ved government disability payments because of their status inoperable, terminal.
She fully recognized that the cure was due to the asparagus. This result did no
t surprise me.
The study "The Elements of Materia Medica," published in 1854 by a professor at
the University of Pennsylvania stated that asparagus was used as a folk remedy f
or kidney stones. This professor in 1739 pointed to experiments in the power of
the asparagus to dissolve stones.
There are many other cases but interfere with the medical establishment that we
get the records. Therefore I appeal to readers to spread this good news and help
us collect a large number of cases that overwhelm the medical skeptics about th
is unbelievably simple and natural remedy.
For the treatment, asparagus should be cooked before consumption, and hence cann
ed asparagus are as good as fresh. Just be careful of the brand to be acquired,
ensuring that contain the minimum amount of pesticides and preservatives.
Procedure
Put cooked asparagus in a blender and puree and achieve will store in the refrig
erator. Give the patient 4 full tablespoons per day, morning and night. Usually
in 2-4 weeks, patients will have positive reactions. It can be diluted in water
and taken as a drink cold or hot. The suggested dose is based on past experience

breakfast and dinner. I drink it hot and my wife prefers it cold. For years we
have adopted the habit of considering the blood. The last time the examination o
f a physician who specializes in nutritional approaches to health, showed substa
ntial improvements in all categories on the previous review. I did an extensive
study of all aspects of cancer, and all proposed cures. As a result, I am convin
ced that asparagus is the last best theory for cancer.
Asparagus contains a good supply of protein called histones, which are believed
to activate the control of cell growth. For that reason I believe that asparagus
contains a substance that I call normalizing cell growth. This explains the act
ion in cancer and general body tonic. Anyway asparagus used as I suggest,€a sub
stance is harmless. The FDA can not prevent their use to anyone, can however, do
much good. Leonard (leonardleonard1 at earthlink.net) adds: "There are many rep
orts of recovery from eating both raw and cooked asparagus. Houston wrote that '
the raw juice or smoothie' can be a more effective "(quoted in Hess, 1999, p. 13
8)" If I had cancer and could eat so much asparagus, cooked (preferably steamed)
or raw, solid or liquids. "
The asparagus are packed with nutrients and low in calories, sodium and choleste
rol.
They are an excellent source of folic acid and vitamin C, thiamin, and vitamin B
