CITIZEN MANIFESTO FOR A COVENANT OF STATE FOR COMPROMISE SOLUTION TO THE ECONOMI

C CRISIS
* No one doubts today that we are facing an economic crisis whose consequences a
re dramatic for a broad spectrum of citizens and which will be for many more. *
There is little doubt today that the measures being taken to address the economi
c crisis are part of a voluntarism which so far is not showing measurable result
s. * Everybody knows that the positions of political parties, whatever their col
or they are, they are governed or not, are part of electoral strategies to retai
n or gain power. * No one can deny that people today are spectators, not actors,
destructive economic context of social welfare. The result of this context, and
increasingly pessimistic trend that we see every day, can lead to a society in
which we live become unmanageable chaos. In this situation it is necessary for c
itizens to become agents spectators. Are necessary in exceptional circumstances
exceptional attitudes. Thus, citizens who signed the appeal for sanity and respo
nsibility, calling on all political parties that are part of the Spanish democra
tic range by the time they leave their partisan quarrels aside, however founded,
and to promote and support the development of a State Pact for finding the cons
ensus measures that our country needs to exit the crisis. A state that Covenant
should also join trade unions and business organizations. The people who adhere
to the Manifesto will reject any proposal, coming from the political party to co
me, whose objective is none other than working with other political parties to f
ind, together, out of the economic crisis.
