In Chapter I of the machinery of the children of Seymour Papert (1995) is summar
ized as follows: â ¢ The school is in megacambios notable exception. Instructors a
re puzzled and recognize it, while mentioning eager obstacles to such change. â ¢
To the extent that children reject the school becomes a pressure creative agents
for change. â ¢ Proposes a knowledge machine that offers a true literacy is more
personal, collaborative, gradual and less precarious than when they learning thr
ough direct experience the use of print as a source of important information and
encourage them to approach to the knowledge needed.
THE NEW GENETIC EDUCATION One of the main objectives of education should be to e
xtend the windows through which we see the world. Arnold H. Glasow
Precursors For Papert1 Seymour (1995) education requires a transformation under
the influence powerful vanguard of changes in science and technology, but mainly
for the use and impact of computers. Video games are the primary factor to cons
ider real change because they have helped children to have another vision of the
school, which seems slow, really boring and outdated. A list of predecessors wh
o did show a challenge of change in regard to education, to name a few are John
Dewey, who proposed that children learn better if learning really part of their
life experience, Paulo Freire, who mentions that children learn better if they w
ere responsible for their own learning process or Jean Piaget who said that inte
lligence arises from an evolutionary process in which a number of factors requir
es a definite time to achieve balance. All these ideas have always been focus of
attention, but in practice "never fly." It would not be likely to face these ad
vances, the field of education continues to show no significant change, consider
ing that in other areas such as telecommunications, transport and medicine, thes
e changes are of great impact.

Papert, Seymour (1995). Chapter I. The machine of children. Rethinking education
in the computer age. Paidós editions.
The proposal of the machinery of knowledge (Papert, S., 1995) is to achieve true
literacy from the point of view that believes that being a literate person mean
s a person with ability to think differently, you see the world differently and
their support base is the computer. Influential New technologies have now manage
d to sow a genuine concern on the part of teachers, gain a broader knowledge in
use, but above all to direct them in an optimum manner in which one hand meet th
e proposed objectives and the motivating other students to see in them a new way
to learn. Even when very few teachers have the previous perspective, as well as
institutions, is palpable the fact that these tools are conditioning very impor
tant to remember that education and educational reforms, changes occur that affe
ct objectives, content and methodologies required for the same integration of ne
w technologies (Reyes, C., 2000) two virtual environments that have produced so-
called information technology and communication (ICT) in recent decades, we requ
ire define a new perspective on the phenomenon of communication (http://www.uoc.

The new technologies of information and communication ICTs are changing everythi
ng, in everyday life, work, production, communication, teaching and learning. Fo
r the use of technology in school, the new positions go beyond being a technical
entertainment space, are focused to provide a solid intellectual standards of e
thical and cultural base that allows them to be curious young people, critics an
d without prejudice, to turn them accountable and analytical information they re
ceive ("The use of technology in high school," National Bank of Refresher Course
s).€Receptors in the presence of all these inevitable changes that introduced t
he world where it seems that for a moment while we have everything we have nothi
ng, to a society under the influence of scientific and technological advances ha
ve changed the dynamics of coexistence and new generations are growing up in an
environment of insecurity and instability, for a moment the school's all this wo
rrying scenario is manifested by not knowing how to act.
Cisneros, J.L. and Anguiano, H.3 (2004) assume that tomorrow's school must under
take to educate free men, away from the herd, to educate the commitment we have
with society, generate very unselfish individuals despite influence of computers
and learn to make their own decisions without the need for others to decide for
them. It must struggle to break with the old positions that they consider all r
esponses are written in the books, the school must teach the child to be innovat
ive in their future as this could destroy myths and hoaxes. The point of view My
academic training gives me the pattern of thinking that these new views of educ
ation are similar to the genetic changes that occur in living organisms and who
like the prospects of precursors have not been submitted a few decades to the pr
esent but which have remained constant and these have largely been the result of
adaptations to the environment and that the vast majority of cases have been ge
nerated by the same man. With the above I want to say that education is not the
only area that is influenced from the outside to innovate, but truth is that it
demands more attention because as I mentioned, the same man then drives the tran
sformation is better than an individual product "literate."
