There are many styles that people wear on a daily basis, and the question is where does
this stuff come from? My clothes come from different countries because the United States trades with
those countries. China has the largest percentage probably because they are a major trading country, and
they need stuff from us as well. Industrial laws effect where our clothes are made because if a clothing
item is made in Mexico, the person from Mexico can't exactly come to the United States. If they came to
the United States they would have to buy a whole new business. If they bought new business it would be
more expensive, and not worth there time because there would be no profit. Because of our minimum
wage it is cheaper to buy clothes that come from other countries. If the clothing item was made in our
country it would be higher up in price. If our minimum wage increased, so would the prices. I think that it
is good that the United States is trading with other countries to get items. It definitely makes the clothes
that we buy cheaper because we don't have some business man in the United States asking for a high
amount of money. Not only does it make our clothes cheaper it also makes our relationships with other
countries better. We can go to other countries if we need something, while they can come to us if they
need something.
