Thank you very, very, very much.

I'd be willing to pay the fee, if it could get this request expedited as well.

Yes, we can provide you with your outgoing calls for the period of

still going to take 30 days to produce them however.

Endnote:

I wondered if it might help to communicate a possibility, where we could meet each other
half way to resolve the problem.

The only thing I need to produce is the times and dates I called to speak with police
officers, including the duration of these calls. I don't need any other information from my
service and you could filter the response to exclude any other numbers.

The ones I need are:

Barrie Police Service 705-725-7025

and

Ontario Provincial Police Headquarters 705-329-6111

This should serve as proof that I'm not requesting the data for any improper purpose.
There are probably less than 10 calls in the period of November 2016, December 2016,
January 2017 and February 2017, but some of them are nearly 2 hours long. This is all I
need from Rogers. Can you please, under exigent circumstances, help in this modified
regard?

Rogers can appreciate the importance and nature of this request however, we
cannot supply the records with the incoming numbers unless we have official
judicial authority to do so. In the meantime, we will take steps to retrieve
and preserve these records until such time that we are ordered to provide
them.

Dear Rogers,

You are directly putting children in danger and I'll have no choice but to
publish this fact widely. You are denying me access to my own
information about services I pay for, so I explicitly CAN'T take this
matter to law enforcement. I require my own information to make a
report, because it's a report to authorities higher than the police about
their actions, for issues that involve misconduct surrounding a child
exploitation investigation. Rogers is preventing the protection of children
as a consequence and any access to help through the government - under
exigent circumstances.

The government can't subpoena Rogers without pressing charges against

a police force for misconduct, to have the grounds for a warrant of any
sort. I also can't subpoena you for my own records, because I'm not
accused of doing anything wrong to require legal defence and I need to
report as a witness. The police force isn't going to subpoena you, because
they're the ones defending losing the information and I've been tasked
with proving how and when that transpired. In the meantime more kids
may be filmed for child pornography as the mishandling is sorted out, and
you're doing everything to ensure that happens.

Please advise if you will change your position and if you won't, what
specific legal grounds you're relying on to deny me the proof of what I
paid for. If you continue to withhold my records, can you please also
provide an official statement for me to publish in response to this
complaint. If your policies manage to interfere with the safety of minors,
they will need to be challenged through legislation immediately and the
issue with Rogers will need to become part of the report I'm in the
process of making.

I appreciate this is a unique set of circumstances and that my comments

may appear brisk, but I've already spent days being misled by Rogers'
customer service reps (saying I could have this info at a charge of $15 per
page), only to be run through a gauntlet of gatekeepers, who now say my
business is none of my business.

Had I only used my cell phone that is also with Rogers service, I would
have a record of all incoming and outgoing, local and long distance calls,
including their duration. You're withholding the identical data about my
home service and if that's the case, there is no reason for anyone to
purchase a Rogers landline because it's treated differently by the company
and subpar to its cellular service. If call details are easily available
through my cell phone and display as a matter of basic service, then how
can the rules be different for a landline?
I apologize if you feel that I'm being too curt, but you must appreciate the
type of danger you're currently causing. I'm gobsmacked this is
happening and in the country of Canada, there is nothing we can do to
protect our children because of incongruent corporate policies.

With respect and deep concern,

Amy Melissa MacPherson

Please have the police contact me directly and I will

Subject: EMERGENCY REQUEST Re Account
720743889 - Police Matter

Dear Rogers,

I need to make an emergency request for

information about my home phone account.

Phone number: 705-422-1113

Account: 720743889

Name: (Amy) Melissa MacPherson

Address: 735 Oxbow Park Drive, Wasaga Beach,

Ontario, L9Z2V2

This is the email address associated with my

Rogers account as well, for confirmation of my
identity: msamymacpherson@hushmail.com

We also have cell phone service at this address

under my partner's name, but my inquiry is solely
about my home service so please don't confuse the
two accounts.

I've spoken at length with Rogers agents on the

telephone and Live Chat about this matter. It was
then escalated to 'Leslie' in the Dartmouth
manager's office, who directed me to take this
action. I believe you will find a second email from
Leslie, confirming this is an emergency that requires
immediate attention, in support of what I'm
explaining to you now.

I need a copy of my home service calls for the

months of November, December (2016), January
and February (2017) that includes all incoming
and outgoing calls, local and long distance, as
well as the duration of each of these
connections. The local calls are especially
important.

I'm a witness in a child predator case that involves

child luring and child pornography allegations
against a person in our community. I made police
reports in these months to assist the investigation,
that involves three different police agencies to form
a task force probe. Due to complications that may
arise from combining multiple police forces, some of
the evidence I provided seems to have been lost
and I must now prove on what dates the reports
were made, to help police retrace what happened
and recover the missing evidence.

Because there are children still in danger as the

investigation completes, there isn't enough time for
me to subpoena my own records from Rogers to
confirm simple dates, times and duration of contact.
I'm also not a suspect in any way, so my records
aren't applicable to a subpoena in the case of the
accused(s). This is why I need to obtain them
immediately, through a privacy request and your
office. I understand you have 30 days to fulfill my
request, but given the extreme danger to minors, I'm
asking that you expedite my records as soon as you
receive this email.

Please advise if you'll be able to attend to this

immediately and thank you very much for this
assistance. If Rogers requires a fee to provide my
detailed records, I will pay whatever is necessary
and you can add it to my phone bill. If payment is
required separate from my regular billing, then
please contact me right away to process by credit
card. I'm hopeful that obtaining my own records to
protect children in a criminal matter won't cost
anything, but I will do whatever is required to get this
information without delay.
Yours very truly,

Amy Melissa MacPherson

(I go by my middle name, but that is my full legal

name for your records.)
