8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Manila time, except US and Philippine holidays.

Under United States law, visa records are confidential. The Nonimmigrant Visa Unit will
only respond to visa inquiries from the applicant or from the applicants legal
representative with a signed Form G-28 (Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or
Representative). In cases of minor applicants, inquiries will be entertained if they came
from one or both parents of the concerned.

To assist us in responding more promptly when corresponding with us, please include
the following:

Full name of the applicant(s) as written on the passport

Date and place of birth of the applicant(s)

Date and classification of visa application

Succinct summary of case

We appreciate if the writer can provide us an email address where we can send our
response.

We try to respond to most inquiries and to answer most letters within 3 to 7 days.
However, complicated cases requiring research or thorough review may require two
weeks or longer.
