Accomplishment Report on Campus Journalism

Activities of Ang Kadluan AY 2016-2017
For AY 2016-2017, One of the Kadluan staffers, Noel Tejoso Jr attended the Division Campus
journalism Training-Workshop focusing on School Paper Management and TV Broadcasting held in
Sablayan National Comprehensive High School, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro last September 26
to October 1, 2016.

Ang Kadluan excel in the said training as recommended by English Education Supervisor, Mr.
Adelardo Malaluan as one of the contender for the Best in Layouting for the Division School Press
Conference. Unfortunately, the school paper was not able to join the competition.

To train the staffers for the new trends in Campus Journalism, the Over-all Adviser, Mr. Amir M.
Villas together with his co-advisers: Mrs. Flordeliza Tovillo, Mrs. Soledad Valdeleon, Mrs. Criselda
Limpiado and Mrs. Medea Roxas conducted the School-Based Campus Journalism Workshop on
November 18-19, 2016. At the schools Computer Laboratory. The said seminar-workshop focus on
School Paper Management that aims to develop the interests of the students in campus
journalism, update the participants on the new techniques in writing and become familiar with the
new software used in the publication of the campus paper such as the Adobe Photoshop, Adobe
Publisher and the Adobe InDesign.
