Description:

The client is a Blue Cross Blue Shield affiliated health plan with more than 3 million members.
It operates across 4 north western states of the US and offers a diverse range of products
covering Group and Individual Medical, Medicare, Dental and Vision health products.
The objective of this project is to identify impact of database migration from oracle 9i to 11g on
database table & Data Stage extract and load jobs.

Responsibilities:

Involved in the Analysis of the specifications provided by the clients i.e. mapping doc
and functional specifications.
The data is extracted from different source systems like Flat files, database tables,
Transform the same data as per mapping doc and finally loaded in to Target system by
using Data Stage.
Work Data analysis and fixing the incorrect data either by fixing jobs or fixing data
itself in ODS and DW
Do performance tuning and code optimization for long running jobs.
Developing the data stage jobs by using Sequential file stage, Data Set stage,
