ISSN Reflection

This project consisted of researching on four different authors. We were to assess the

difference in their societies and how they were impacted by the era they lived in. The purpose of

this project was to analyze the evolution in the role of women. My thoughts when i started this

project were that this was going to be a basic boring project. At the end of this project i realized

that i was completely wrong, i learned a lot from this project. My goal before i started this

project was to make the best of this project. The sources I used for this project was handouts

provided by teacher, various websites, and textbooks.

I made many decisions throughout this project. I had to find credible sources to add

information to my poster. In order to accomplish my goal I had to make this project fun. I then

had to complete a similar poster about the literature she wrote.

I learned about the evolution in the role of women from different parts of the world. What

I learned about myself during this project was that I the role us women have now is nothing

compared to back thens. I excelled at decorating my poster. I need to improve in researching

information. What I would do differently next time is process information a bit faster. I am proud

of myself because I was able to complete this project with my group.

I investigated the world by doing research on various topics, author, country of origin,

society at that time, literary devices used in her works , people who influenced her writings,

awards might have gotten , challenges, works , one of their works and present the centy impact

on women in society and the literary movement. I communicated ideas by presenting to the class,

on deciding how to complete the poster,shared with my mom, asked other groups for

clarification, and asked teacher for feedback. I recognizing and weighing perspectives: by

analyzing how each era had different perspectives on women, assessing the role and jobs a

women in the different society.
