Using Timeliner, the students will be creating a timeline that will highlight important events that shaped the American Revolution, including wars, acts that were passed, policies put into place, and important people that influenced the time period and had an impact on the revolutionary movement in America in order to cover the standard being addressed in this activity. In this activity, students will be acting as a teacher and creating a Timeliner that would help teach a classroom about important events that shaped this time period. They will list the year and name of the event and a brief statement about it. Their timeline should include a minimum of 5 events. Later, students will be posting this to their classroom blog so other students and parents may view it from home. Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): In this activity, students are demonstrating a LoTi level 4. They are acting as teachers, doing research on the information provided, making a technology tool that can be shared and accessed by others, and producing their own educational product. The teacher will be serving as a guide to these students throughout the course of the activity.
