Business Idea Proposal

1. What is the problem your business is solving?


The problem my business is solving is a multi faceted issue.
One: We aim to create a path to US citizenship that is easier than ones currently in place.
Two: We aim to solve the lack of skilled workers in america, there is skilled laborers in foreign
countries that produce work that simply cannot be replicated by american workers.
Three: We aim to make work more accessible for the general populous of both the USA and
foreign countries.
Four: We want to make it more desireable to enter the USA as a legal citizen.

2. What is the product or service my business will provide?


My business will provide a job matching service where we match individuals educated in certain
skills with employers who seek them (citizens of both the US and foreign countries are eligible).
Additionally my business will offer assistance for those we assist in employment with finding
housing, medical care, and the other necessities of a productive life.
We will also offer assistance in finding businesses that will sponsor the immigration of skilled
workers allowing for another path to citizenship

3. How is your idea innovative and creative?


This idea is innovative because it has never truly been tried in the US and would solve many of
the problems the US faces when it comes to lacking skilled labor. We have a major lack of
talented laborers that specialize in building the infrastructure our nation needs.

4. What was the methodology that you used to come up with the idea?
I didnt really have much of a methodology when i thought this idea up, ive always been in a
multicultural environment but i've had this idea since middle school and anyone ive suggested it
says I should chase in once i become an adult.

5. What personal skills and talents will you bring to the business?
The skills and talents i bring to the business include:
Resourcefulness
Great problem solving skills
I speak spanish nearly fluently
I am very good at organizing business plans
I am very good at communicating with my peers
6. How did you come up with this idea?
As previously stated i have had this idea since middle school and always thought it would be a
good opportunity to pursue for this class and in general.

7. Who will be your customers?


My customers would include businesses seeking skilled employees, and people (both citizens of
the us and otherwise) seeking employment in the US.
8. What customer needs or wants will you be satisfying?
We will be providing what equates to a headhunting service in addition to a protective service of
our clients much in the way a union does.
We will provide clients what they need to make a life in the US
We will protect business clients from inviable employees by providing interviewing services as
well as background checks and vetting.
We will also offer consultant services for the business clients themselves.

9. Who will be your competition?


Our competition will include many staffing agencies and executive search firms that choose to
adopt a similar business model such as:
180 recruiting and consulting
Korn Ferry
N2Growth

10. How will you differentiate your business from your competition?
It will not require much to differentiate our business from its competition because as of right now
there is no competition to this business plan.

11. What is the purpose (the WHY?) for your business?


The purpose for this business is to simplify the world of job hunting for both skilled laborers and
those seeking employees with talent skills currently unavailable by traditional means.
The secondary purpose is to provide an affordable path to a life in the US
