Analyze configurations of the structural components of a Industrial Buildings, Residential Buildings, Hospital buildings, Commercial Buildings, High rise tower &
Other Structures
Liaise with designers, including architects, to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction.

Make drawings, specifications and computer models of structures for buildings.

Preparation and submission of Design Basis report for projects.

Preliminary Analysis and Proportioning Member and joints along with framing plan in 2D & 3D (Approximation, Loads, behaviors, Design Criteria & Codes).

Providing Structural Analysis, Evaluation and final design report w.r.t behavior loads, design criteria and codes.

Work with geotechnical engineering to investigate ground conditions and analyze results of soil sample and in-situ tests.

Consider the strength of various materials, e.g. timber, concrete, steel and brick, to see how their inclusion may necessitate a change of structural design.

Calculate the pressures, stresses and strains that each component, such as a foundations, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls & water retaining structures will
experience from other parts of the structure due to human use or environmental pressures such as weather or earthquakes

Responsibilities of this role Structural detailing to be done for the designed structures and same has to be checked & verified by HOD.

Well Knowledge in STADD Pro or E-TABS & AutoCAD along with manual design calculations and procedures.

Adhering to the targets that are assigned with in the specified time frame with effective and efficient working

Solid understanding and knowledge of construction methods and legal regulations

Reviewing Project design basis, Standard drawing & Load combinations, Providing the structural Design brief report to the client

Ability in risk assessment, economical designs for cost effectiveness in the projects

Contributing to the preparation of briefing documents, feasibility studies and options appraisals.

Site visits, Surveys & Inspection of Quality of the Construction project, providing the reports to the management

Should have knowledge in codes like IS 456:2000, IS 1893:2002, IS 875, IS 13920, SP 16 etc., and other relevant codes required for structural design

Ensure the interface of other subsystems & coordination of services like electrical, plumbing & mechanical details in structural design & drawings
