Mesdames et Messieurs, bon jour et bienvenue chez Audi Sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Audi Sport.

Audi Sport GmbH was launched in November 2016. Last year we announced the new company name and we
changed it from quattro to Audi Sport. Now we are living it.

Why was this name change necessary? Because we are focused on the essentials. Motorsport is part of roots and
of our DNA. Now our R8 and RS high performance models are under the same brand as Audi Sport racing cars.
It´s a sign that we will now have an even closer connection between our series production cars and motorsport.
All Audi Sport models are driven by the same thing: passion – passion for performance, passion for prestige and
passion for forward thinking.

2016 was a record year for our company. In 2016 we achieved a growth rate of 18 percent for our high
performance R8 and RS models compared to the previous year. We have therefore doubled our sales over the
last five years and made 2016 our most successful business year. Our clear focus on world cars is increasing our
brand value.

2016 was also the most successful year in the history of our customer racing department with the R8 LMS.
We clinched 24 titles, had 85 race wins in total and more than 100 further podium places. And in 2016 we also
launched our first ever RS customer racing car – the Audi RS 3 LMS. We have already sold out its first production
for 2017.

At Audi Sport we have a lot of new products in the pipeline and will present eight new Audi Sport series
production models by the end of 2018. We are ensuring that these models will be attractive for global markets.
We are serious about expanding beyond our European powerbase where we are strong. That´s true for our series
production models as well as for our customer racing portfolio. Audi Sport is becoming a truly global player.

Therefore the RS 3 will come as both Sedan and Sportback. Today we are celebrating the premiere of the new
RS 3 Sportback*. We know that the new RS 3 Sportback will be a success story like its predecessor was on
European markets. And we are convinced that the RS 3 Sedan* will create a new success story on the Asian and
North American markets. The RS 3 LMS, the customer racing version of the RS 3 Sedan, is already successful on
race tracks around the world.

And today we have the world premiere of our newest Audi Sport model – the new Audi RS 5 Coupé*! It is the
perfect combination of luxury, high performance and outstanding design. This car is our definition of a
Gran Turismo. This car represents our philosophy of an athlete in a tailormade suit at its best.

And it is the first RS model to be fitted with the new 2.9 liter TFSI biturbo engine. This progressive V6 engine
concept has 450 hp. It delivers 600 Nm of torque – 170 Nm more than before and spread over a wider rev
range. This extra torque combined with quattro all-wheel drive enables 0 to 100 km/h in an amazing
3.9 seconds – the RS 5 Coupé is the only model in this high performance segment with all-wheel drive.

And at the same time we have improved efficiency with CO2 values now under 200 g/km – an improvement of
almost 20 percent. It is also the first RS model to have an optional carbon fibre roof. This saves weight at the
right spot and thus lowers the center of gravity of the car and improves its handling.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Audi Sport stands for both high performance road cars and racing cars. So we have a
double world premiere of the RS 5 Coupé and the RS 5 DTM which underlines our claim “born on the track built
for the road”.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I hope you enjoyed this presentation of the RS 5 Coupé.
Now let us enjoy the new RS 5 DTM. Thank you!
