Last year, the Empty Bowl Benet raised $5700 for the

years to over $16,000 raised to help feed our neighbors.

The 3rd Annual Vermont Sled Hockey Championships took place at Fenton Chester Arena in Lyndon,
Vermont on February 25, 2017. Four teams participated in the tournament: the Vermont Sled Cats from
Burlington, Central Vermont Pioneers from Barre/Montpelier, North Country Sled Dogs from Lyndon,
and the Ice Vets from White River Jct. After much spirited play, the tournament came to a conclusion
with the final game pitting the Vermont Sled Cats versus the Central Vermont Pioneers. After a very
intense competition, the Central Pioneers emerged the winner after the 1-1 deadlock was broken late Norwich freshman Amanda Conway (right, #2 in white) tucks the puck into the University of New
