representing your community?

Its time! The Enterprise Center is forming a Neighborhood Advisory Subcommittee (NAS)
resident leadership group. If you are interested in bettering your community and working
across neighborhoods in West Philadelphia to help solve problems, you may be an ideal
candidate. Submit the requested information by February 28th for consideration.

To qualify you must be a resident of The Enterprise Centers city-designated service area
(see map and form on next page), or a leader of a community-serving organization (such as a
nonprofit, faith-based institution, or community-facing business) located in this service area.

The Enterprise Center will be accepting nominations for NAS members through February
28th, with elections to take place in March. You can nominate yourself or nominate a
community leader who fits the criteria. To put a name in for consideration or ask questions,

NAS members will be asked to:
Serve for a 2-year term
Attend a minimum of 6 monthly
committee meetings each year
Voice community concerns to The
Enterprise Center and City of
Philadelphia
Assist in planning and promoting
community meetings
Help get the word out to neighbors
and service area residents about
resources and initiatives
NAS members will have the
opportunity to:
Represent their communities and
develop leadership skills
Learn and share best practices for
community building and problem
solving across different
neighborhoods
Help The Enterprise Center and
the City of Philadelphia set
community development priorities
within the service area

To put your name in for consideration for the Neighborhood Advisory Subcommittee, please submit
the following information via email to Jesse Blitzstein at jblitzstein@theenterprisecenter.com or in
person at The Enterprise Center at 4548 Market Street (M-F, 9 AM - 5 PM). If you wish to nominate
someone besides yourself, please submit the persons name and contact information. Nominations
are due by 11:59 PM on February 28, 2017.
