2. Why would you choose Hovid to be your employer and what actually capture your interest
to apply a job with us?
Im interested on the job that Im applying for and I would be honoured if I could have
opportunity to work with such a good reputed and leading Malaysia pharmaceutical
manufacturing company.
Regulatory Affairs is developed from the desire of governments to protect public health, by
controlling the safety, quality and efficacy of pharmaceuticals products as well as the quality and
safety of traditional medicines and cosmetics marketed in the country.
The introduction of these regulations was an important milestone in the history of drug regulatory
activities in Malaysia as it provides for the establishment of the Drug Control Authority (DCA) to
regulate the pharmaceutical industry. The DCA, an executive committee of which is responsible
for product registration and licensing of manufacturers, importers and wholesalers, whereby the
NPCB functions as the operational arm and the secretariat to the DCA.
I expect the position that I have applied could provide me a feeling of accomplishment and a
steady employment. Besides, I also expect having a physical working condition that is safe, not
injurious to health, and even comfortable. Apart from that, I expect that my pay and benefits are
at least enough to meet one's needs, and being paid fairly in comparison to others.
5. What were some of the major challenges or problems you have faced during your study at
the university? How did you solve the challenges/problems that you have encountered?
If you are currently employed, please answer the above in the context of your employment.
The major challenges or problem Im facing right now is I have to deal and communicate with
different people from diverse background that came from different countries such as Nepal,
Indonesia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Cambodia and so on. Therefore, I have to first
understand their culture before communicate with them so that we are not perceived as impolite
or aggressive.
My favourite field of study is marketing because Marketing is a diverse field to work. Other than
learning about marketing communication, consumer behaviors, marketing strategy and sales
management, I had study a mix of core business modules such as human resource, business
planning, operation management and etc in marketing field. I understand that the current job
applied is more to administration. However, regardless marketing or business administration, its
actually linked to each other as its a fundamental to support how a business grows.
My long term goal is I wish I will be a great leader who coaches the employees to be better and
therefore make the company better by using the knowledge and skills that I have gained to help
others to reach their top potential.
