Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners offers your

airline a real choice in the maintenance, repair and
overhaul of CFM56 engines. We can provide a
single overhaul or a fleet management program, part
repairs or serviceable material. We also manufacture, to
Pratt & Whitneys proven high standards, new Pratt & Whitney
Global Material Solutions (GMS) gas path and life-limited parts
for use in CFM56-3 engines.
Pratt & Whitney operates the industrys most extensive aircraft
engine overhaul and repair network, and providing competitive
CFM56 engine services is a priority. Our Norway Engine Center
is solely dedicated to CFM56 engine maintenance and repair.
Pratt & Whitney recently opened a CFM56 engine overhaul
facility in Shanghai and a CFM56 engine and V2500 engine
overhaul center in Istanbul. By partnering with leading airlines,
we add their operational knowledge to our experience to
become a leading independent provider of CFM56 engine
maintenance services.

Our engine centers are supported by a network of parts repair
facilities around the world. That global network gives us the
flexibility to service your engines quickly and efficiently,
saving time and money and keeping your fleet earning revenue.
Pratt & Whitney offers CFM56 lease engines to support our
overhaul customers.
In addition to these services, Pratt & Whitney GMS gives you
a real choice in buying new CFM56 engine parts. For the first
time ever, operators have a dependable alternative with new
CFM56 engine materials. In addition to new, fully interchangeable
engine parts, Global Material Solutions can provide customers
with comprehensive fleet management and customized
maintenance service programs.
All 18 GMS life-limited parts are certified under FAA and EASA
Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs). The FAA and EASA STC
process requires an applicant to meet the same standards of a
type certificate holder, and each GMS life-limited part is certified
with FAA Chapter 5 life limits equal to the original type certificate
holder. Also, due to bilateral agreements, the STCs are approved
for use by both the Australian (CASA) and Turkish (DGCA)
regulatory agencies. The GMS STC approvals are the first and
only FAA and EASA certifications ever granted for alternative
life-limited engine parts.
