Our Mission
Our Roadmap starts with our mission, which is enduring. It declares our
purpose as a company and serves as the standard against which we weigh
our actions and decisions.
Our Vision
Our vision serves as the framework for our Roadmap and guides every aspect
of our business by describing what we need to accomplish in order to
continue achieving sustainable, quality growth.

be.
Functional Objectives
Look for opportunities that can make unique and valuable contributions
to the betterment of business.
Core Values
a. Historical Background
We were there when it all began, when Captduino was created as one of
the first open-source electronic boards that revolutionized the world of
open hardware. The family of Captduino boards has helped professional
and non-professional developers to prototype electrical projects and to
learn in a way that is accessible and possible for everyone. At this turning
point, we want to stay loyal to our roots.
It was 2005 when the first prototype came into existence as a school
project at the Bataan Peninsula State University. The purpose was to help
designers, who had no expertise in electronics, to connect the physical
world and digital world quickly to see working prototypes. The inspiration
came from the electronic board called Wiring, a thesis project from the
said school. The integrated development environment was a simplified
version of Processing, an open source language developed by professors.
b. Target Market
Our company targets anyone ranging from non-professional to
professional whos into electronics, designers who had no expertise,
students who prototype electrical projects and anyone who wants to
connect the physical and digital world.
Every day, more and more people are diving into open electronics. Each
day, technological advances make electronics more accessible to
everyone than ever. This makes a growing market that our company must
provide for.
c. Marketing Plan
With the increase in demand of our product, we are planning to
manufacture more boards, while the different departments are innovating
and developing different features. In our roadmap are the following:
64-bit CPU with ARM architecture for low power applications
built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi at 5GHz on board
more I/O pins
2GB ram
With the openness of our product, both hardware and software, the
community will help in advertising our product in line with our minimal
advertising in the internet.
Our product, despite of being fully packed with great features, managed to
maintain its low cost, which is unarguably below the competition.
An effort is made to provide the community the help they need from
programming to prototyping hardware, to building loyalty among
customers. Selected individuals are provided with new hardware as beta
testers to help with the improvement of the product.
d. Competition
As an open-source company, we are not taking others as our competitors
but we encourage collaborative projects to innovate each others
products. We are always open to talks about innovation.
However, some other companies are still not open when it comes to
collaboration and take our company as a direct competitor. These
companies include Batduino, Spiduino, and Ironduino.
Our advantages to the said companies are the low cost devices, feature
rich devices, modularity, and wider support from the community.
