In this time, | worked with Ms, Brekke as she supported the school sta in inclusive practoes and students wih clverse needs. I have spent many hours in her classroom seeing the different instruction and support in place that meet the needs of allof her students. AAs the Special Education Fecitator at Donaldson Elementary, Ms. Brekke worked to bring more inclusive practices to her site. She worked with teams to create schedules and place students in appropriate classrooms \with professional support as well as teaching staf skis to meet the needs of the students in those rooms. She also supported staff by creating modifcatons of classwork to help meet each student's individual needs. Through this process she demonstrated superior communication skils end coaching ebilies. During the past year, | have observed Ms. Brekce teach students in her classroom with indWvidualized lessons to meet each student's needs. She has a vary diverse classroom population that she modifies and adapis daily. Ms. Brekke has shown mastery of developing behavior lars and knowledge of curriculum while mocstying work and tasks to meet students access points. The environment created in the classroom is nurturing yet challenging Ms. Brekke is the ideal professional.
