programs in the classroom. One of the easiest ways to introduce new technology to students is by
utilizing something that is fun and engaging. Kahoot is a program that allows both educators and
students to create games, quizzes, or polls to work on their knowledge of any topic. In this
tutorial, you will learn how to create a Kahoot account. Once a Kahoot account is created, you
will have access to the large assortment of Kahoots made by others as well as the opportunity to
use your data to create your Kahoot. After making your Kahoot or choosing a premade option,
you will learn how to allow students to play the Kahoots in the classroom for maximum
engagement.
Kahoot is a valuable tool to share in education because it offers many possibilities for the
classroom. Creating formative assessments to check for student understanding or creating games
to help students prepare for summative assessments are just some of the many options. Students
can also take ownership of their learning by creating Kahoots of their own and sharing them with
the class. Kahoot makes something as simple as a warm up discussion or a poll about classroom
choices more fun and engaging. I chose to share this tool using Screencast-o-matic because of

teacher to control the questions being asked to students while still having a fun engaging
