Partner can be target and especially during game time. Watch for students Drill 2: Free ball clear (teacher tosses from other side of net) following the correct rules and encouraging others Drill 3: In groups of 3 or 4, one person will be the setter at the net and one passer will toss the ball to the setter who will set the ball up for the passer to attempt a hit. The Differentiation: other group members are on the opposite side retrieving the ball. Equipment Safety Considerations
Volleyballs -Make sure equipment is set up properly, nothing on the gym floor Students need clean dry shoes -Drills should be organized to minimize the risk of being hit with an errant ball -Yell Ball is there is a ball rolling around unnoticed to others -Students should spread out while practicing drills and have enough space to move in all directions
