HOT LINE
This feature comes in use when a particular extension /junction is to be used continuously
and repeatedly over a period of time, You can get the extension/junction dialed
automatically by lifting the hand set after a programmable time between 1 to 9secs. Hot line
can be used by following ways.
1) Extension hotline- An extension can be called automatically by lifting the hand set.
2) Junction hotline- A junction line can be seized automatically by lifting the hand set.
3) Junction number hotline-An outside number can be dialed automatically by lifting
the hand set.
To use
Lift hand set
The extn/junction/junction number saved will be dialed automatically.
Refer programming guide to activate hotline.

46. FLEXIBLE NUMBERING

You can allocate any 1,2,3, or 4 digit number to any extension.

For example: You can programme
Extn. 100 as 403
Extn. 101 as 5022
Extn. 102 as 35 etc.
Refer to programmers guide for setting of above.
1) Following digits are reserved for feature codes hence can not be assigned to any extn.
0, 9, # & *
2)Digits 1,2,3,4 & 5 are reserved specially for extn. numbers which can be used freely.

3)Digit 6 is used for trunk numbers and should therefore be avoided as first digit for an extn
number, though it can be used by changing the trunk access code.
4) Digit 7 & 8 are used for feature codes. All the feature codes to be reassigned if you wish
to assign 7 and 8 to any extn.
5) If you shall be using a mix of 2/3/4 digit nos., then number having starting common digits
cannot be assigned to any other extn.
For example: If 2030 is used for one extn., then 203 cannot be used for any other extn.
Similarly, if 2100 is used, then 210 or 21 or 2 cannot be used.
5) Same number cannot be assigned to two ports.

Lx user manual Page 13

7) After setting flexible number, any extn. programming must be done using new extn.
Number.

TRUNK ACCESS GROUP

You can program 10 trunk access groups, which can be accessed by each extension. Each
group can have all available trunks with the system.
You can define ten hunting groups of max 4 extensions which can be accessed by 890 to
899. When any one dials 890, Members of this group rings as per set ring pattern, These
groups can be used to assign incoming calls for any junction line or calling an internal
department of the office, To define these hunting groups, Refer to programming guide.
36. WALK IN CLASS OF SERVICE
This feature enables an extension user to get his dialing rights on another extension what
he has on his own extension. The calls made using this feature will be logged into users
own extensions,To avail the same,

CLASS OF SERVICE
Each extn. can have any one of the following 5 levels for making outside calls.
Level 0 = No restriction
Level 1 = ISD calls disallowed, rest allowed
Level 2 = ISD,STD calls disallowed, rest allowed
Level 3 = ISD,STD, Mobile calls disallowed, only local calls allowed
Level 4 =No outside calls allowed
Refer programming guide to set cos.

ACCEPTED AND DENIED TABLE

Accepted/denied tables are used to restrict some telephone numbers to be dialed out.
Total 10 allowed and 10 denied tables can be created. Each table has 10 locations to enter
any number. Each accepted and denied table can be enabled or disabled for any extension.
If any extension has enabled all 10 accepted tables from 0 to 9, it means that extension can
dialed all the number stored on accepted tables 0 to 9.but if any number is stored in denied
table and that table is enabled,The extension can not dial that number. So the system will
first checks the dialing rights given to the extension on class of service through system
programming & than system checks the denied table then accepted table enabled.

USER PROGRAMMING DATA BACK UP

Once you have done all the programming, you can save this file in the systems flash
memory so that it can be downloaded into the system.Total10 different user programs can
be saved at 10 locations in the system. Any one off these back up files can be restored in
the system as and when required. To save back up files refer to programming guide.

40. HOTEL APPLICATIONS
