Metaphor
Definition-Compares two unlike things without using like or as.

E -The poodles fur is a fluffy sheeps coat.

Definition-Compares two unlike things using like or as.

E -My cat is as fast as a cheetah.

Definition-Gives human like characteristics to things that are not human.

Definition-When two or more words close to each other have the same vowel

missed him
