he assueres them, 'whatever is happening is for your good. Do not be afraid. I went through the
same. Every now and then I too had strange movements. Every now and then I had my share of
restlessness, anger, dejection, apathy, sensuality and blankness which are generally considered to be
tamasic tendencies, but I suffered no harm from them. On the contrary, I realized the divine. Zso do
not worry. Let whatever us happening run it's course. In reality your nerves are being purifified and
the accumulated impressions of the past are beaing wiped out, You will eventually experience such
divine bliss as will keep you continually bright and cheerful.

Joyful contemplation of the Guru is the very essence of Siddha Yoga, the sadhana of Skatipat and
the secret of God-Realisation.

Sri Gurudev says that if a Siddha student wishes to realise God, who is Love, he must first love
himself. He should not consider himself to be wretched, sinful and worthless. Nor should he torture
or pamper his body because the body is endowed with consciousness and is a temple of God. God is
attained within it. A seeker should feel grateful to his body and keep it pure, clean and healthy. Nor
should he punish the mind thinking that it is impure, restless and unstable. It is the mind's
restlesness which has led him to the path ofyoga. The fact is the mind is always seeking a suitable
place to restm and if it is lovingly led to a proper place, that is when it is allowed to rest in the Self,
it becomes tranquil. Thus, the body and the mind are great \benefactoes and should be treated with
love and respect. Gurudev asks how a person can love the world when he despises himself? To be
filled with love, a seeker has to expand his self love to embrace everyone and everything.

May I earn my bread by the sweat of my brow,

And ever meditate on thee.

The blissful, divine Shakti, Goddess Chiti, expanding as the universe, is the noble Kundalini. She
lies coiled up in muladhar and regulates the functions of the different parts of the body. When she is
awakened by the Guru's grace. She makes the best of one;s worldly circumstances according to
one's destiny. She cultivates supreme friendliness among people, inspiring them tp look upon each
other as divine, thus transmuting this very world into a paradise. She perfects what ever may be
imperfect in one's world.

O, pilgrims of the world! If you want to complete your journey smoothly, become aware of
Goddess Kundalini, the worthiest deity; awaken her through meditation: see her unfolding on all
sides and live your daily life joyfully. Her blissful Light constitutes the Guru's form. Your Chiti
Kundalini, aroused by the Guru's grace, will skillfully accomplish all your tasks. You will achieve
gretness by Chiti's favour. Your worldly life will become your sadhana, overflowing with joy,
strength, nobility and love. Your home will be holy Kashi, your practical affairs sacred daily duties,
your friends gods and goddesses, your food a holy offering to the Lord, and all your actions will be
worship of God.

He is the inner witness of all and he dwells in the temples of all hearts as the innermost Self.

Similarly, the divine power exists in our own being, working ceaselessly. IT is only perverse
rationalism that denies its existence.
If this world were actually without God, who would enjoy living in it? Who would strive to make
his worldly life, clean and pure? If life is sweet and joyful, it is because of God. His glories are
infinite. Whatever sweetnes and joy we experience belong to His infinite nature.

This universe is a true image of the Supreme Reality. The vedantic statement, All this, indeed, is
the absolute,' is entirely true. God pervades everywhere. All countries, holy centres and all names
bbelong to Him. The differences of high and low are only man;made. All places on this globe are, in
fact His abodes. All rivers, lakes and ponads are sacred, as they are His. The many shapes and forms
of this world embody the sound of God's name. Infinte are the names, infinite the glory, infinite the
play of the Infinite. Limitless is his being. However much you read, there is always so much more
to read. No matter how many holy places you visit, there are always many more, Hoever far your
vision may reach, more lies beyond. Such is the all pervasive, the infinitely vast, the supremely
glorious divine substance.

If you neither meditate, perform good deeds nor take good care of your invaluable body, how will
you ever find happiness?

The little joy you had before also vanishes. And you never find the true, pure, joyous and invaluable
nectar.

Muktananda says: O man! Meditate for the sensuos enjoyments you have been pursuing in the
world. You will find all the pleasurable sensuous stimuli, since they lie within, Your world will
become a paradise. Meditate on your inner being. Meditate on the Shakti to whom you owe your
indiviual existence, Love the inner shakti and respect inner self.

Meditation will fulfill you by satisfying your five sensuous appetites, your aesthetic urges of art,
poetry, and dance and your quest for jivanmukti

It is elixir. Having obtained it, a person becomes full of bliss. As you taste this nectar and become
absorbed in it, you will bre transformed with inner delight. This is the food of the gods, of love, of
yoga and of worldy seeking.

As your inner aroma is released, not only your home, but your whole world will become tranquil,
your body will she its heaviness and sloth and become lithe and vibrant.

Then you will sing the song of love and equanimity while living in the world.

Do not consider your body a mere lump of flesh made of the seven components. It is a noble
instruemnt, provided that it is not employed for sexual indulgence. In it are situated all holy places,
gods, mantras, and the source of all extraordinary powers in the world.

While working in your proffesion, seek out the Guru to attain spiritual peace, to transorm your
home into a temple of yoga, and above all, to find Shiva.

God Realization is possible only throu a Guru, a spiritual Master, who is a direct desendant of the
supreme Lord and who is illumined with divine knowledge. One should endeavour wholeheartedly
to secure his sublime grace, So long as one lacks his blessing, the inner Shakti remains
unawakened, the inner light unmanifest, the inner eye of divine knowledge unopened and the Spirit
chained to the body.

We need the Guru more than a friend, a son, a brother or even a wife. We need him more than
wealth, machines and factories, art and music, much more than health and even more than life itself.
He brings about the rebirth of man, imparts knowledge to him, sets him on his spiritual journey, and
develops the love of God in his heart. By his grace alone our inner Shakti in unfolded.

It is not easy to meet a Master and then it is extremely difficult to understand him. The Guru is a
great and wonderful deity. Do not miss your opportunity with a realised one by considering him
ordinary. You can understand his greatness when you are fully blessed by him

The Guru's life is a constant unfolding of divine play. By his blessing, any man becomes divine,
continuously immersed in inner joy. Great is his glory, beyond the comprehension of the obtuse
intellect of ordinary mortals. He is worthy of everyone's reverance.
