Sequence of topics to be maintained in Report:

Title Page
Certificate
Contents with Page numbers chapter heading uppercase and bold.14 size sample
given above.
Abstract
Chapter 1. Introduction
Chapter 2. Scope of the work
Chapter 3. Component description if any (H/W & S/W)
Chapter 4. Implementation techniques or related information
Chapter 5. Results and Conclusions

Bibliography/References

Give numbering as [1]. [2] For all below.

First journals, second book and last websites..

There should be at least 10 references including all above.
For Books- name of author, title, name of editor, publisher, year, page number
-Valid internet articles
For journals Name of the authors, Title of the paper, Journal name, Vol.
No.1, pp. 1-4, Year.
For website- Website address and links address in the website copy from address
bar from where the content is referred or copied..

Equations : Equations must be centre aligned and equation number must be right aligned
on same line.

Each equation in chapter-1 must be numbered as 1.1, 1.2, so on..

Each in chapter 2 is to be numbered as 2.1, 2.2, 2.3...so on..

Topics should be numbered as follows

Eg: Topics of Chapter 1 should be numbered as 1.1, 1.2(left aligned)
sub topics in 1.1 should be numbered as 1.1.1, 1.1.2. (left aligned)
Further -sub topic as 1.1.1.1, 1.1.1.2..so on.(left aligned)

Eg.. Main heading 1.1

Sub heading 1.1.1
Letter Font and line spacing to be followed throughout the report.
Line space: 1.5, Font size: 12, Font type: Times New Roman, Margin space: Left
3cm, Right 2.5cm, Top 2cm, Bottom 1.7cm. or normal page setup.
Major Headings all Caps, Font size:14, Bold
Sub-headings- all caps, Font size 12, Bold.
Further Subheadings .capitalize each word..12 Font size, Bold.
Legend for figures and tables (aligned to centre)
Example for Figure--
Chapter one figure number starts with 1.1, 1.2 soon..
Fig.1.1: Self descriptive title, 12 Font size, Italics below figure and aligned to
 centre.

In chapter -2 figure number 2.1,2.2 so on

Example for Table
Table number use continuously as 1.1,1.2,1.3 soon in chapter-1
In chapter -2 2.1,2.2,2.3 so on..

Introduction chapter onwards like Page 1.

For Contents, Abstract, the page numbers should be in the format (i), (ii), (iii)
.. (i.e Roman Letters) And right at the bottom of the page.
The actual page nos starts from Chapter 1 onwards.
The type of binding should be soft binding with sky blue color.(first page on
binding should be black print.
First page same as cover page & Certificates should be color print for all copies.
Separate page for chapter heading and no numbering font size 16,bold, center
aligned and middle of the page.

Size: The report should be submitted in A4 size BOND PAPER.

Number of copies to be submitted: 1 + 1 (student and dept copy)

Paper, Typing, Format: A4 size paper should be used for the preparation of the Report.
Typing should be done on the 12 point size letters.
Fresh para should commence single tab. 1.5 line spacing shall be provided throughout the
report.
