Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. Were also backed by a strong channel of partners; such as HP,

Our in-house Development, Design, QA and Support teams, plus our Operations, Finance and
Marketing departments are all based from our headquarters in Newcastle. The Taopix Team
have extensive industry experience, with three quarters of us working in R&D.

We deliver a market-leading software platform dedicated to the growing digital photo market,
focusing on photobooks and photo gifts. Our complete software solution is available in over 60
countries in 20 languages via a dedicated network of global partners and resellers. Our focus is
on helping businesses sell photo products across our web, mobile and desktop applications.

Taopix is a fully customisable, white label software offering a suite of five applications working
seamlessly together to deliver a flexible and powerful photo commerce platform. Our focus is
on the one product we sell, Taopix. There are three packages available, tailored to suit any

About Role
Were offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced, driven and proactive product owner
to join our development team at Taopix HQ based at our Head Office in Ponteland.

The successful candidate will have an agile mind-set solely focussed on making value adding
decisions. You have a desire to constantly deliver and think strategically in launching new
features on our technology platforms. Youre keen to interface with customers, gathering
research which may involve worldwide travel.

Youre expected to be experienced and skilled in a product owner role, with an ability to utilise
tools and techniques to ensure an effective and successful delivery of Taopix web apps.
Working directly with Product Strategy Board youll share clients requests, directing the
construction of our backlog. Youll be responsible for taking the strategic direction from the
board and turning it into an accurate product roadmap.

What we expect from you

Working within our Research and Development department, you should be an excellent
problem solver, highly resourceful and have the skills to build, groom, prioritise and maintain
the product backlog. Youll be able to confidently share your ideas as well as listen to other
peoples and effectively communicate new features and functionality to a diverse audience.

Responsibilities
Our agile software development methodology is running via daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and
sprint planning sessions. Youll be responsible for ensuring Scrums run smoothly, liaising with
the IT Director throughout each sprint. Youll be the primary source for all user story detail and
priorities, taking a leading role in release planning. We expect you to work as part of a team
with responsibilities for:

P Sharing new ideas and concepts relevant to the progression of the Taopix platform

P Working with Taopix Product Board to construct the product backlog

P Accurately estimating and planning tasks to build the product roadmap

P Working closely with the R&D team to ensure deadlines and objectives are met

P Building, grooming, prioritising and maintaining Taopix product backlog

P Managing and attending regular product review, planning and update meetings to
enhance the discipline and success of the role in the company.

P Undertaking regular customer reviews and UA testing, working directly with key
customers and stakeholders.

P Responsible for the seamless handover of new and enhanced features sets to Sales &
Marketing for successful marketing execution.

P Accountable for delivering roadmap on time, in budget

P Working with a number of depts. in the company; from user design, software
development to software testing, ensuring all aspects connected to the product delivery
are managed and pulled together

P Extensive experience in roadmap product management planning

P Implementing and maintaining a robust product roadmap system
