Triage all patients entering the emergency department using a severity scale. Provide

including emergency resuscitative, stroke and cardiac care needs. Work independently as
 well as with a team approach. Supervise up to seven staff RNs and ancillary staff. Work
with various practitioners such as MDs, PAs, NPs, residents, interns, medical students,

assurance and performance improvement measures. Expanded and implemented new

provided in-services to licensed and non-licensed personnel. Investigated and responded
proactively to incident reports, medication errors, and complaints. Developed and

organization departments. Conducted Joint Commission style patient tracers on my units;
developed and implemented corrective actions and provided education in response to
