State-of-the-art Quality Lab TESTING
Elaborate and exhaustive quality assurance systems have been implemented at every juncture of the manufacturing process:
Coal is tested to determine Fixed Carbon, Gross Caloric Value and Moisture Content
Dolomite is tested for LOI, CaO, MgO, SiO2 and screen analysis
In Process Inspection:
During production every hour the DRI is tested for Fe (M), Fe (T), C, S and feedback given to operations department
Universal Testing machine Satmagan Samples are drawn frequently and tested for non-mag contamination
Finished Product Inspection:
Before the melting process, the sponge iron is checked for Fe (M), C, S and non-mag contents
SUNVIK TMT is CNC notched for high accuracy and uniformity in rib pattern to achieve high bond with the concrete.

ADVANTAGES
Not only are Sunvik Green Bricks better for the environment, they offer a host of advantages to the
Working towards
builder as well. Their cost is also economical compared to clay bricks. A green tomorrow, today
Comparison Criteria FLY ASHs Advantages over Red bricks
Dimensions and Weight Uniform and consistent with a sharp nish, as they are made by an
automated and controlled manufacturing process
Aordability
Lowering greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change is important to Sunvik Steel. Despite the fact that
steel production emits 5 to 20 times less greenhouse gas emissions than other material alternatives, Sunvik has made its
mission to ensure its operations are as green as possible.
To this end a 10 MW Power Plant was commissioned on March, 2010 and Sunviks operations consume all the power
that is produced. The uniqueness of this project is that waste hot gases, which were dispersing into the atmosphere, are
being captured and used as a raw material for the Power Plant.
0
The 1000 Centigrade gases produced while making steel are captured and fed into a water-lled boiler.
These hot gases convert the water into steam and the steam is fed to the turbine (generator) to produce power.
HIGHLIGHTS:
STEEL MAKING - THE GREEN WAY! Generating power
Sunvik steels are pioneers in steel Manufacturing. Sunvik is dedicated and understands its responsibilities towards
Saving the atmosphere by converting the gases into power
saving the earth. It has also added Fly Ash Bricks & Blocks for construction purposes to its product offering. These bricks
are made of Fly Ash generated from Sunvik's Thermal Power Plant. Eligible for CARBON CREDIT for this project
Adopting the latest in cutting edge technologies
FEATURES
Uniform appearance / high strength Less Wastage
Nil Efflorescence / Dense Bonding Uniform Size and Time Saving
Quick Finishing Eco Green Bricks/ Less Cement Consumption
Good Heat Resistant Low Density Bricks
