Mold Design using Creo Parametric 2.0
(TRN-3920)
This document includes Instructor Notes that define best practices in using the course
material and various instructor resources prior to and during class. The primary goal is to
support you, the instructor, in delivering the highest quality of classroom training to
assure the highest customer satisfaction possible.
Objectives
After completing this TTT, you will be able to:
Use a variety of Instructor Preparation Materials
Deliver the course on schedule.
Setup the classroom.
Facilitate lab exercises.
Delivery Schedule
For onsite classes using customer software, you must verify correct licenses, maintenance releases,
lab files, optional modules like Simulate, etc.
PTC and its authorized training partners (ATPs) are provided comprehensive licenses of Creo
Parametric that include all the optional modules that may be needed during a training class.
We recommend that the file sets be extracted to C:\ drive. The resulting folder path will be
C:\PTCU\CreoParametric2\.
Screen resolution It is recommended that you set screen resolution to 1280x1024 or higher if
available.
Lab Files Extract the lab files with the full folder path.
For example: C:\PTCU\CreoParametric2\
Start up directory - Change the Creo start up directory to the class files folder. For example:
C:\PTCU\CreoParametric2\
Desktop Exercises - Extract the folder containing the HTML files to the desktop. Create a desktop
shortcut to the main landing page (index.htm) and rename the shortcut. For example: Mold Design
using Creo Parametric 2.0 Exercises.
