Reflection of Act of Teaching chapter 8

In this chapter is about Cooperative learning, Constructivist Teaching, Direct Instruction,

and Discovery learning. First of all I want to talk about the Cooperative learning. This

cooperating learning is teacher have to teach the learners to like and care for one another by

making a small group to discuss or to work together and are rewarded for their collective

accomplishments.

Secondly, constructivist teaching is about the students who have the problem solving

under teacher guidance. The teachers have to lead the students and be like boss for them

especially the special students. Students have to follow instruction what teacher say to do.

Teachers have to know how to solve the problem when the students have any problem in the

classroom.

Thirdly, is about the direct instruction. Teacher have to be more prepare for this section

because we want to use directly to them to do something in the class and teaching in the most

efficient and effective way to the students. We use this direct instruction because some students

will not want to study and doesnt want to follow the instruction to the teacher, so this direct

instruction is helpful for the teacher to do in their classroom.

The lastly, is discovery learning. The discovery learning is like the independent learning

style to, students figuring things out for themselves. Some time we dont need to lead the

students all the time, we should let them do something by themselves. When the students do by

themselves is not mean we are free in the classroom but we have to look around to see how they

are doing and what question do they need us for help or explain to them again.
