Revision History
After HSUPA is introduced, the inter-RNC handover also depends on the capability of office
direction RNC to support HSUPA (RncFeatSwitch) because neighbor cells feature varying
support capabilities (HspaSptMeth). That is, only if both the target cell and target RNC
(office direction RNC) support HSUPA, the E-DCHE-DCH handover can be performed.
Otherwise, the DCHDCH handover flow cannot be originated until E-DCH falls back to
DCH. The channel transfer is performed along with handover.
