Designation : Planning Engineer (Level M2)
Project Details: JBF Petrochemicals Ltd, PTA Plant, Mangalore.
It is a Greenfield project to produce Poly Terephthalic Acid (PTA). It is the second plant
to produce PTA in India. The project comprises of various Civil works such as
Substation Buildings, Cooling tower, Pipe racks, Trenches, Drains, UG Pits, Culverts,
Equipment foundations & Roads.
Roles & Responsibilities

Preparation of DPR, WPR , MPR , Three month look ahead for monitoring of project progress.
Updating actual Progress and all related information & comparison analysis.
Preparing Manpower Deployment schedules, Resource deployment schedules as per the norms.
Tracking and maintain scope changes of Disciplines such as Excavation, RCC Works and its effect on the overall
project schedule.
Estimation of Manpower Requirement for the Project based on standard productivity.
Monitoring of actual resources availability.
Generate Construction S Curves & Histogram of different progress monitoring measures.
Presentation of progress status at client and contractors through weekly & monthly project review meetings.
Liaising with site in charges, contractors, project manager and client on current issues hindering the work in
order to sort it out with relevant remedies.
Progressive billing generation for works taken up on monthly basis and lump sum basis (Sub-contractor
Billing).
Keeping track of material received and preparation of reconciliation statements.
Analyze gaps between the planned and actual progress and highlight the areas of concern which required
action of the associate task member
Understand and able to utilize planning tools such as MSP, P6, SAP & MS excel.
Revising of Budget on quarterly basis(For revising work breakdown structure)
Looking after planning & execution of HDPE Pipe Fabrication &Erection.

Preparing rate analysis of sub-activities for getting approval from Top management for rates of sub-
contractors.
Attend the progress review meetings with Clients & Sub-contractors.
Generation of PRs & POs based on site requirements.(SAP)

Participated in National Design Competition 2013 Conducted by CADD training Services center Pvt Ltd.
